Product Description
Spider-Man Trilogy: Heroes Wave – Spider-Man With Gargoyle Base features the classic blue and red costume with silver web patterns standing in raised relief; Spider-Man is equipped with a pull string gizmo linked to the snarling snout/beak of an emphatically large and tortoise-like gargoyle, the latter of which is fitted with a mounting clamp. If Spider-Man finds himself abruptly overwhelmed by the likes of the Green Goblin or Doctor Octopus, he has the ability to spring out of harmâs way—provided of course that the gargoyle doesnât eat him.

My 4 year old loves playing with just the figure by itself. Not really interested in the String clamp (which is rather cheesy). But it is a good action figure to play with and use with other spiderman figures.

I purchased this for my 3-year old daughter who’s really into Spiderman right now. When it arrived, I was thoroughly surprised with regard to how many joints are movable on this action figure. You can pose Spidey in just about any position imaginable. Head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, legs, fingers, feet, ankles…all movable. Each individual finger (except the thumbs) and the toes (as a single unit) are even movable. I often find Spidey laying around the house in undignified poses, looking more like the star of a Broadway musical rather than a crime fighting action hero, so I take the time to reposition him and man him up a little.
